After a couple of years of DH he bought a road bike. The one thing that he said he’d never touch and wasn’t interested in. At first it was just used to commute and train in bad weather, but has developed into his favourite form of riding. James now loves nothing more than to find a smooth piece of tarmac and a nice steep hill!

Long lumpy rides in the summer to hour blasts round a field in the winter, two wheels and a world of pain keeps him going.
