Full Time Sales/Technical Role
Due to the continuing growth of both our bricks and mortar and eCommerce business we are seeking a motivated individual who is keen to progress in a role in the cycle industry. The role will be a balance of sales and technical duties, based on the shop floor reporting to our sales manager but also with opportunities to spend days in the workshop assisting with bike builds and walk in servicing work.
A solid technical grounding of both road and mountain bikes is essential, those without a Cytech qualification will be considered. You will need to be capable of building boxed bikes to a high standard and in good time, and confident running customers through set up procedures when handing over product.
You will also be set sales targets and be responsible for day to day duties on the shop floor, re-profiling and merchandising, cleaning and maintaining our high standards of presentation. Mud Dock has been family run and established for over 20 years and we have a strong history with our key brands, Trek, Cannondale, Specialized, Brompton, Pashley and Look. We have a competitive salary on offer for the right candidate. You will be expected to work 2 out of 4 weekends a month on a shift pattern but you will always have 2 days off together.
Part Time Sales Role
We are currently recruiting for a part time sales role in the shop. This will involve weekend work and up to 24 hours per week if required. This role would suit someone looking to gain experience in the cycling industry, or a younger person/student looking for weekend work to fit around studies.

We are currently considering C.V’s for an apprentice role in the Cycleworks. We would be looking to train you to a Cytech level using the A.T.G. training provider. We anticipate the role will require 3-4 days per week including working at weekends. This will suit someone who is looking to start a career in the cycle industry and gain experience working with all types of bikes. You will have the opportunity to gain an overall understanding of the industry, from our relationship with suppliers, to eCommerce and sales and service. There is a great opportunity for someone to develop a role from the ground up and become a key member of staff here, progressing to full employment.

We are currently recruiting for both a full time Sous Chef and a part time Chef.
At Mud Dock Café, we pride ourselves on using fresh and local ingredients and providing value for money to the customer. We are currently looking for two chefs to join our small and loyal team at Mud Dock Café. To flourish in both roles you must be experienced, committed, organised and able to remain calm under pressure. There will be thorough training and scope for implementing your own ideas in creating new dishes and menus, putting your stamp on one of the best known Cafes on the Harbourside.
We have a full-time role for a sous chef as well as a part time role for another experienced chef. In both of these roles you will need to be flexible and to support the team at all times.
